About the workshop
This workshop is designed for faculty members who may be required to handle issues regarding workplace harassment. Case studies based on real cases on sexual harassment and bullying will be discussed. The workshop will offer practical advice on how to handle such issues sensitively and with empathy, as well as discuss the importance of working with appropriate channels in a timely manner to resolve actual and potential conflicts, before and after a formal complaint.
- Identify the types of unprofessional behaviour that may arise on campus;
- The law in Singapore and/or internal policy;
- Learn how to handle complaints empathetically through discussions and activities;
- Be more aware of how their actions could potentially be construed by others.
The maximum capacity for each session is recommended to be 25 faculty and it will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Light refreshments will be provided.
