In an opinion piece, Euston Quah, Albert Winsemius chair professor of economics at NTU and President of the Economic Society of Singapore offered five strategies for Singapore that protect the environment and yet allow for continued economic growth, though at a lower rate. The strategies involved focusing on what Singapore could do internally in terms of sustainable development measures, while taking into account its unique circumstances and constraints.
