​Graduate student bags awards at Singapore Psychological Society’s Student Research Award 2020

Psychology PhD student, Mr Paul Victor Patinadan, was recently awarded the “Best Qualitative Research Award”, “Best Postgraduate Research Award”, and the “Fred Long Award for Research Excellence” by Singapore Psychological Society’s (SPS) Student Research Award 2020 for his research paper, “I am What I Ate: The ‘Food for Life and Palliation’ (FLiP) Model for Understanding the Lived Experience of Nutritional Assimilation among Singapore Palliative Care Patients and their Families.” 

The inaugural Fred Long Award for Research Excellence honours the decades of service to the Singapore community by Founder President and Honorary Fellow of the SPS, Adjunct Associate Professor Fred Long Foo Yee. This distinction is granted to a candidate selected from across all academic institutions in Singapore who have showcased an exceptionally high standard of research-related proficiency.
